in may 2016, verifone underwent a complete brand makeover as it transitioned from being a longtime provider of payment hardware and security to an innovator in the payment software space. my team and i overhauled all brand elements—refreshing the color palette, creating new icons, updating the tone of voice, etc.—to help modernize the company’s persona and ensure consistency in look and feel throughout the business. we also created guidelines for events and partner marketing, as well as new templates for all marketing materials.
